EERI Membership


The Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) is a nonprofit multi-disciplinary technical society of engineers, practicing professionals, and researchers dedicated to reducing earthquake risk. EERI membership will help you stay current with the latest scientific and engineering advances, better understand the social and economic impacts of earthquakes, and serve as an advocate for seismic safety.

MEMBERSHIPS ARE FROM JANUARY 1 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF STUDENT MEMBERSHIPS WHICH ARE FROM SEPTEMBER 1 THROUGH AUGUST 31.

British Columbia (Please pay your regional membership dues directly to the chapter. Since the chapter operates in Canada, EERI cannot collect your payment.)

Donations to EERI Endowment and Programs:
Donors play an integral role in EERI’s mission by supporting programs and initiatives that further understanding earthquake risk and increasing earthquake resilience in communities worldwide. We invite you to explore the following opportunities to engage with EERI.

The most urgent and pressing need for donations now is our Learning From Earthquakes (LFE) Endowment Fund. A campaign is underway to raise $4 million to ensure the continued existence, innovation, and impact of our signature program, Learning From Earthquakes (LFE). The endowment fund will enable the program to become financially sustainable, expand earthquake reconnaissance efforts, develop innovative programming, and invest in the next generation of leaders.

If you would like to make your pledge to the LFE Endowment Fund, please download and complete the Pledge Form and email it to eeri@eeri.org or mail it to the EERI office.
